The Word FM, in
association with
World Servants, is excited to present our
most ambitious mission trip to date:
CHINA
 2008!!
This year, from 06.14.08 to 06.28.08,
we will have the opportunity
to work alongside Bless China International
(www.fuhuaint.net/bciw)
at The YaoAn Farm located 2.5 hours outside
of Kunming, China. Our project:
To assist in the
development of The YaoAn Farm (there
will be no KidsClub on this trip).
The B.C.I.
Agricultural Technical Center (The YaoAn Farm)
is an agricultural training facility (currently in
developmental stage). The purpose of the center is
for the equipping of Project Coordinators and
Farm Managers.
 The farm is located on approximately 48 acres
of nutrient-depleted land. They are starting
to implement S.A.L.T. (Slope Agriculture
Land Technology) to replenish the soil.
Eventually, these useful farming techniques will be
reproduced in other needy areas.
As of today, one B.C.I. family is living in Yaoan
County helping to develop the project. They are
working with eight Lisu farm workers who live
at the site. We will be assisting these B.C.I.
families / workers in their work.

at Penn Valley Church (Telford, PA)
-- with lunch provided. All participant
are required to be at this training! |

A
passport, as well as a visa, is required, as well as an international
travel release for minors. All participants MUST
have personal health insurance and an up-to-date
tetanus shot!

Participants under
eighteen (18)
years of age must be accompanied by an adult or be
part of a youth group with adult supervision.
