The Word FM Ministry Spotlights
Purpose: To introduce the listening audience to
local ministries that may
1) be of service to listeners or those they know
or
2) need gifts or assistance which listeners can offer.
What
is a Ministry Spotlight?
A Ministry Spotlight is an interview dedicated to
highlighting a local ministry. The interview is
conducted at the Word FM studios between 9am and
2pm. Please allow about 10-15 minutes at the
station. The interview will then be edited and
played on The Word FM at a later date, either as a
full interview on the Morning Show or edited down
to a 1-2 minute feature that will be played
throughout the day. The final product will depend
on the quality of the interview and the
applicability to our listeners.
Who is invited to participate in The Word FMs
Ministry Spotlights?
Any nonprofit ministry who benefits the community
in the name of Jesus Christ may participate in the
Word FM Ministry Spotlight. Churches may
participate when the ministry they are promoting
is a special community event, not a part of
regular church programming.

Debbie Young &
Allen Puy from Hopewell United Methodist Church in
Downingtown have been helping to produce the
church's annual
Passion Play for years. This year, for the
first time, Hopewell is presenting only the modern
language version, complete with updated costuming,
sets, and including new scenes from Jesus' ministry.
So, even if you have gone in the past, this year
will be a new experience!
