December 1:
1 Corinthians 9-11
1 Corinthians 9:22-23: “I have become all things to
all men so that by all possible means I might save
some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel,
that I may share in its blessings.”
December 2:
1 Corinthians 12-14
1 Corinthians 13:12-13: “Now we see but a poor
reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to
face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully,
even as I am fully known. And now these three
remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of
these is love.”
December 3:
1 Corinthians 15-16
1 Corinthians 15:58: “Therefore, my dear brothers,
stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give
yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because
you know that your labor in the Lord is not in
vain.”
December 4:
2 Corinthians 1-4
2 Corinthians 4:7-9: “We have this treasure in jars
of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is
from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on
every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in
despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down,
but not destroyed.”
December 5:
2 Corinthians 5-9
2 Corinthians 5:16-17: “So from now on we regard no
one from a worldly point of view. Though we once
regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
December 6:
2 Corinthians 10-13
2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “[God] said to me, ‘My grace
is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect
in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more
gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power
may rest on me. . . . For when I am weak, then I am
strong.”
December 7:
Acts 20:1-3 &
Romans 1-3
Romans 3:22-24: “This righteousness from God comes
through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall
short of the glory of God, and are justified freely
by his grace through the redemption that came by
Christ Jesus.”
December 8:
Romans 4-7
Romans 5:6-8: “You see, at just the right time, when
we were still powerless, Christ died for the
ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a
righteous man, though for a good man someone might
possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own
love for us in this: while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us.”
December 9:
Romans 8-10
Romans 8:38-39: “I am convinced that neither death
nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the
present nor the future, nor any powers, neither
height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God
that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
December 10:
Romans 11-13
Romans 12:1-2: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in
view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living
sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your
spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer
to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind.”
December 11:
Romans 14-16
Romans 15:5-6: “May the God who gives endurance and
encouragement give you a spirit of unity among
yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with
one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
December 12:
Acts 20:4-23:35
Acts 21:13-14: “Then Paul answered, ‘Why are you
weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only
to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the
name of the Lord Jesus.’ When he would not be
dissuaded, we gave up and said, ‘The Lord’s will be
done.’”
December 13:
Acts 24-26
Acts 26:22-23: “But I have had God’s help to this
very day, and so I stand here and testify to small
and great alike. . . . that the Christ would suffer
and, as the first to rise from the dead, would
proclaim light to his own people and to the
Gentiles.”
December 14:
Acts 27-28
Acts 28:30-31: “For two whole years Paul stayed
there in his own rented house and welcomed all who
came to see him. Boldly and without hindrance he
preached the kingdom of God and taught about the
Lord Jesus Christ.”
December 15:
Colossians &
Philemon
Colossians 3:1-4: “Since, then, you have been raised
with Christ, set your hearts on things above. . . .
For you died and your life is now hidden with Christ
in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears,
then you also will appear with him in glory.”
December 16:
Ephesians
Ephesians 6:12: “For our struggle is not against
flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the
authorities, against the powers of this dark world
and against the spiritual forces of evil in the
heavenly realms.”

excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
December 18:
1 Timothy
1 Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you
because you are young, but set an example for the
believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and
in purity.”
December 19:
Titus
Titus 3:4-5: “But when the kindness and love of God
our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of
righteous things we had done, but because of his
mercy.”
December 20:
1 Peter
1 Peter 4:11: “If anyone speaks, he should do it as
one speaking the very words of God. If anyone
serves, he should do it with the strength God
provides, so that in all things God may be praised
through Jesus Christ.”
December 21:
Hebrews 1-6
Hebrews 4:12-13: “For the word of God is living and
active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it
penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints
and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of
the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from
God’s sight.”
December 22:
Hebrews 7-10
Hebrews 10:22-23: “Let us draw near to God with a
sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty
conscience and having our bodies washed with pure
water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we
profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
December 23:
Hebrews 11-13
Hebrews 12:1-2: “Therefore, since we are surrounded
by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off
everything that hinders and the sin that so easily
entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race
marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,
the author and perfecter of our faith.”
December 24:
2 Timothy
2 Timothy 1:7-8: “God did not give us a spirit of
timidity, but a spirit of power, of love, and of
self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify
about our Lord.”
December 25:
2 Peter &
Jude
2 Peter 1:5-7: “Make every effort to add to your
faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to
knowledge, self-control; and to self-control,
perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to
godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly
kindness, love.”
December 26:
1 John
1 John 3:16 &18: “This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we

but with actions and in truth.”
December 27:

tear from their eyes.”
