Who does this project benefit?
All money collected from our project will go
toward hunger relief in Honduras through the work of
The MAMA Project.
Did you know that a child
suffering from malnutrition and poverty can be
fed for ABOUT $1 PER DAY?
The MAMA Project
is a local ministry that has been working in
Honduras since 1987, specifically in the
nutritional rehabilitation of severely
malnourished children.
* Are you
taking nickels, dimes, quarters ... or donations by
check?
We're not ASKING for
other coins, but we'll take them! Each nickel will
count as five pennies, each dime as ten pennies,
etc. However, if you'd like to make a more
sizable donation to
The MAMA Project
-- particularly if you'd like to give by check,
and/or need a receipt -- please do so directly with
The MAMA Project.
* Can my church
get involved on a larger scale?
Absolutely! Please

find out more.
* Can I place a
donation canister at my business?
Sure!

* Where can I drop
off my pennies?

2) Check the
main Cents of Hope page for
information on upcoming public collections. In
general, we'll be glad to take your donation
wherever we have a Word FM table set up, including
select local concerts and remote broadcasts.
3) If you have a large donation (like,
thousands of pennies!) and are in the Souderton area
during regular business hours, give us a call at
215-721-2141 and we can arrange a time for you to
bring them to the station. However, if you're
like most people and plan to be collecting pennies a
few at a time, the best thing you can do is make
your own donation jar or can and once you've
collected a larger quantity, bring them to a public
collection or drop-off point.
REMEMBER: our drive is a
"marathon", not a "sprint"!

Got any creative ideas for getting involved?

Can I
make my own donation canister!
Definitely!
Download and print a special "Cents of Hope" label
HERE (larger
rectangle) or
HERE (smaller
square) and put it on any jar,
can or bottle. But honestly, you don't NEED
any certain label -- grab a jar, can, box, bag, cup,
etc.; if it holds pennies, toss them in!
