"Cents of Hope" -- our 2008 penny drive to benefit
hunger relief in Honduras
through
The MAMA Project.
HOW CAN YOUR
BUSINESS
GET INVOLVED?
We invite you to support the
"Cents of Hope"
project and participate by placing a donation
canister at your place of business. Just print the provided "Cents
of Hope" label (larger/rectangle,
smaller/square) and attach it to an empty can or other container and
place it out for donations. Don't forget to
contact The Word FM,
and let us know about your participation!
WE ALSO NEED
BUSINESSES TO VOLUNTEER TO BE DROP-OFF POINTS FOR
LARGER QUANTITY DONATIONS (and be promoted on the
air as such).

HOW DO WE GET THE PENNIES TO THE WORD FM?
If you're placing a donation canister at your place
of business, you can check the "Cents
of Hope" main page for information
on collection dates and locations. You may
also
contact The Word FM
to schedule a time to drop off your donation at the
station (this would likely need to be during weekday
business hours). Keep in mind, though, that
this is a 12-month project! There's no need to
make numerous, small deliveries -- especially if
you're coming from a distance. For businesses who
become drop-off points for larger quantities,
depending on your location, The Word FM may be able
to pick up donations.

WHAT IF WE HAVE
DONATIONS OF NICKELS, DIMES, QUARTERS, etc.?
That's fine -- we'll certainly take
them, but our emphasis is on PENNIES. We
encourage anyone who wants to make more sizable
donations, or donations by check or PayPal, to do so directly through
The MAMA Project.
